The Black Swamp Fast Draw Club will hold it’s annual contest on November 6.   Held at the Sandusky County Sportsmen’s Club in Gibsonburg, Oh.   Once again Tom Crawford has come up with a challenging match, and a interesting side event.

Side match, time permitting $1.00 entry fee with a 60/40 pay back

You must use a cartridge gun. A Clint Eastwood spaghetti western replay.  The shooter standing with the empty gun in holster at the 10’ line. One loaded cartridge on the loading table and both hands on hat brim.  At the light, load and fire at target. 1st and 2nd best times will win.  In case of a tie there will be a shoot off.

Directions:

         From the east:  Via Ohio turnpike, exit 81,onto sr51, turn left (south). take to US20, turn left (east) past the old drive-in theater.  Right after the theater is CR74, turn right (south).  Take to CR 600, turn left (east), and watch for Club sign on your left.

         From the West:  via Ohio Turnpike, Exit 81 (for the match), otherwise you will lose precious time trying to wend your way to Gibsonburg. However you can take the back way.   Go South from Exit 81,on extension of US280 (which becomes SR120) to the US 20 split.   Go East to Woodville on US 20, and stay on US 20 until you pass the SR 51 intersection (flashing yellow cautions).  After SR 51, past the old drive-in theater on the right, is CR 74.  Turn right (South) and take to CR 600, turn left.  Club is on your left!    

           From the South:  If you’re not staying in the area Friday night, and will be coming directly to the match via US 75, exit either at Bowling Green and follow SR 6 across to CR 300 (turn left-North) and take to CR 600, turn right, Club on your Left.  Or exit at Luckey, CR 582 East through to Woodville.  At Woodville, US20, turn right, (East) and follow for about 12 miles, passing SR 51 (double caution lights) and the old drive-in theater.   Turn right (South) on CR 74.  Take to stop sign at CR 600, turn left and the club is on left!   The only direct route from US 75, would be exit at US20 in Perrysburg and angle back, Southeast.
