For those who don't know Greg, he is the Western Division Vice-Chairman. Greg has done his very best to help Fast Draw grow in his division. Greg had this to say, and it was posted on the OFDA forum in the Gunfighter Zone. I feel it is very important for the membership to read it. My Hat is off to my good friend, Greg.

The 2009 Gene Autry Days, held in Kenton, Ohio on June 27 & 28, at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. Shawnee Bandits Fast Draw Club hosted the two day contest. Twenty men and seven women, came to compete. Welcome to the two new members of the OFDA, who signed up and competed. Congratulations to Carol Bonnett and Ron Zimmerman, who won Saturday's contest. And Laura Campbell and Lyn Potter, winners of Sunday's contest. Hats off to you!

Strawberry Festival Shootout was held in Dayton, TN, on May 16 & 17. The contest was sponsored by the Southeast TN Fast Draw Club. It was held in the beautiful Point Park, next to the water. Seventeen shooters came to compete, and have some fun. A few of us were brave enough to make the walk to downtown, and enjoy the festival! Congratulations to all the shooters!

C.W. Barrett, Jr. Shootout was held in Calhoun, GA. on April 18 & 19. The contest was sponsored by the Rusty Guns Fast Draw Club. Twenty-two shooter came to compete. And the "man" himself, CW shoot on Sunday! Way to go, CW! There were several new shooters who joined the fun! Results are as follows! Congratulations to all the shooters! Way to start off our shooting season!
